Approvals

The licencing authority may issue approval for Laboratories for conducting tests to be done in the  case of drugs, cosmetics & raw materials sent by the manufacturers on behalf of manufacture for sale of drugs.

Approval of recognised laboratories

Documents to be submitted to the licencing authority for obtaining approval are

-    Covering letter with 5 rupees court fee stamp affixed
-    Form 36(Refer Statutory forms)
-    Chalan of Rs.7500
-    List of equipments
-    Standard Operating Procedures
-    Certificate proving qualification & experience certificate of technical staff
-    Declaration of technical staff
-    Plan of the building

The validity of approval is for 5 years from the date of grant of approval.
